Have You Thought About The Atmosphere Of The Pre-School

By now, everyone must be aware of the pre schools and play schools because such kinds of institutions are seen in every city. Some cities which cater to larger populations have more such schools, where the parents can send their kids to prepare themselves for the coming years in primary education.

Plenty of pre schools in Delhi are coming up gradually. This is showing that the concept has been very well accepted by the parents of today, who want to let their kids learn new things from as early as possible. They would like to see their kids accept the idea of staying out of the home for a few hours and get adapted to the school environment as quickly as possible.

For the parents, the presence of pre schools in Delhi has been a big advantage. People are nowadays busy in their jobs and in most cases, such jobs are highly demanding. When both the parents are into jobs, it is imperative that they want their kids to be attended to and help them in their development. Since they have a time constraint, such parents want that their kids get to learn the basics of education and socialise with other kids. Such practices are carried out in the pre schools in Noida, where working parents are a common thing.
In such cities, people from different regions and backgrounds arrive and take up jobs. They therefore want that their kids should go to the pre schools in Noida for a few years, where they can learn the alphabets, numbers, drawing and other activities. By such activities, the kids are able to learn many things, primary of which is interaction with other kids of the same age group.

When the parents who are going out for jobs in Gurgaon send their kids to such pre schools in Gurgaon, they are providing a platform for the development of their children. Living inside the homes along with the parents and a few other relatives might not be effectively broadening the outlook of the children. This is aptly justified in the pre schools in Gurgaon, where the students comprise of different age groups, and who are involved in different kinds of study and play activities by the teachers.

To help in the development process by such methods, there are able teachers who have undergone training to handle kids of such tender age. They understand the psyche of the kids and therefore are able to judge properly about the needs and wants of the kids. Under their observation, the kids carry out different activities for a few hours in a day. By going to the pre schools in Noida, the kids are getting prepared to shed their inhibitions when they go to the schools. It is here that the children can learn about painting, drawing, dance, music, yoga, and various other activities.

The teachings of English alphabets and simple mathematics are imparted at this stage so that they are able to grasp their lessons in the higher classes, when they start going to the primary school. The concept of pre schools in Delhi and many other cities in India is growing at a rapid rate. Due to the popularity of such schools, the parents are also eager on providing the facilities to their kids for their all round development.

Pre-School Education: A Popular Form of Informal Learning

Being a pre-school educator is not an easy task to do. It is a very challenging and adventurous job. As she is expected to be second mother of the child. To handle this difficult task she has to pay attention to more experienced mentors & watch how they handle disruptive situations. Here are some interesting tips for pre-school educators.

1.Never stop learning. Keep an open mind. Read latest reports on child care. Visit other programs to find out techniques you could fit in. Check for individual development classes for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in your vicinity. Consider finishing a degree or take revision courses at a local university.

2.Expect great things to happen. Be thrilled about your work each day. A child's first teacher is often the one he or she remembers the best part. You could be that person in the existence of the children you teach.

3.Learn to be bendable. Although young children need a regular schedule, allow for the unforeseen. What if snow starts falling? Or, a bulldozer is working close by? Or, a helicopter hovers above your head? Utilize teachable moments.

4. Leave personal troubles at home. Commence every day with a warm, friendly greeting for each child who enters your program. Push personal problems away until later. A smile reassures parents that you will be concerned for their child until they return.

5.Preserve a clean, safe environment. Is your ecce program one in which you would wish for your own child to spend the day? Look around. Make a list of possible hazards. Avoidance could keep an accident from happening. Safe and clean environment is good for preschool goers.

6.Value individual differences in each child. Understand that each child has a unique learning style. Some children learn the best in a chart mode, such as watching an expression. Others learn in a hearing mode, such as listening to instruction. Still others learn best in a kinesthetic method which includes using the hands to feel, touch, and see. Study shows that teachers usually teach in the mode in which they learn best. Appraise each child and find his or her best education style.

7.Build up a primary bonding process. David P. Weikart, President and creator of the High/Scope Educational Research Foundation suggest bonding with the children in your care. Some of your children may be from homeless shelters or dysfunctional families. They may show violent behavior, signs of removal, or disruptive conduct. Realize that a controlled environment, consistent daily routine and shared control between adult and child are critical to the unhappy child to take ownership of their learning.

8. Establish an innocent relationship with parents. Choosing the right child care plan is of vital importance to parents. What are people saying about your plan throughout your society? Is your staff one that welcomes parents? Are children eager about coming each morning? Do parents trust their child is in safe surroundings? Think about these questions and list ways you can develop.

Go ahead and talk in detail to the teacher at the play school.

Before you send your child to preschool plan some activities where your child gets a chance to meet children his age, this will make your child learn the concept of adjusting with other children and being cooperative. Use the role play method to familiarize your child to the concept of preschool. Play the role of parent as well as teacher to totally make your child comfortable with preschool.

Show him what he will do there and ensure that he is familiar with the campus and is used to the concept that he will be separated from you for a few hours.  Act out all the activities your child will do when he leaves for school like wearing his uniform and shoes, make him pick his bag and play as if you are going to school. Tell him what he will be doing at school and play act all the activities he will be doing prior to going to school. Make your child thoroughly comfortable with preschool before you leave him there.

Ways to nurture learning in your preschooler

Nurturing is essential to the proper development of your child. It is an important ingredient that helps the child grow physically, emotionally, mentally, culturally and spiritually. Providing a health diet, proper shelter and medical care is not enough for the child to grow into a strong individual. He needs adequate nurturing to grow into a healthy individual. The everyday interaction you have with your child whether it is cuddling up or teaching him to pick his plate is plays a major part in nurturing him. Here are steps to take that will foster learning in your child:

Your child’s world should be a safe playground for growing and developing. Give him the gift of a secure home in which he feels protected and loved. The environment should develop a sense of wonder, excitement and interest in your child. Children are able to sense the moods and emotions of their parents. Do your best to protect your child from stress, anxiety and other adult problems.

Children need to be acquainted with vocabulary at a very fast rate. Provide them with the words that they need to succeed. This is the most important step you can take to ensure the language development of your child. Explain to your child what you are doing, the more information they have the better is their understanding of the world around them.

Read to your child on a regular basis. Children who are read to on a regular basis become good at reading, gain literacy skills more rapidly and perform better in school.

Don’t just emphasize on education, children learn best through playtime.

Bridge the gap between the world of learning and the real world. The more meaningful is the school work of the children the more interested they are in learning.

Develop organization abilities and time awareness. Start planting the seeds of organization and time awareness, which is essential for growth in school and adulthood. Arrange your child’s bedroom so that he knows where things belong when not in use. Discuss the concept of time in ways in which the child can understand easily.

Encourage interests and passions in your child. Help your child discover his passions by providing a variety of hands on experiences like swimming, music, painting, dancing etc. The more you encourage your child to express his interests the more he will transfer his passions to the academic world.

Allow your child to deal with negative situations by letting them fail in some things then encourage them to find a solution to the problem.

Foster creativity in your child. Create an area in your house where your child can freely express himself without worrying about the mess, like painting and sketching provide plenty of materials to write draw and create.

Focus on the emotional I.Q rather than just the academic performance. Many enthusiastic parents over-emphasize the academic skills and ignore social and emotional skills. It is essential to emphasize on social skills. Your child may be a mathematical genius but he must also know how to get along with people.
